Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner (/fje̜/ /kren foːn/ [naked; nude; bald] [zoo]) is a temperate Town located in the Krëchysnǟ Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was founded by Fimien Dordud, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner has a yearly average temperature of 7°C (44°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool -10°C (14°F). Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner receives an average of 152 cm/y (59 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4080 m (13385 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was founded durring the late 10th century, by Fimien Dordud. The establishment of Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's construction back out of the project. Fimien Dordud pushed on reguardles, and Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner is buildings are located arround a single broad flagstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's millitarily questionable fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its god. More than it loves wealth. The town is very clearly poor. Buildings are run down in ways that are not imeadiatly obvious. The people are a bit too thin. The market is very eager to sell to newcomers, but not so eager to buy from them. There’s also a general lack of the hum and buzz of healthy industry in Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner.

Civic Infrastructure

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's parks.

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is short in Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner.

The Amoeba, Giant near Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner are known to be quite timid.

Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves performance art to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 1 via guttural bellowing.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner lost 157 people, 134 livestock, and 45 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 215, when members of Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's militia enacted an operation to escort a particular solgiers group to a safe location. The operation was complicated by enemy spies who revealed the militia's plan. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in defeat for Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fye̜ Kren Fōn Ner's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
